Gertie Westin, 100, Kanawha, died Tuesday (Dec. 24, 1996) at the Kanawha Community Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Matthew Miller officiating. Burial will be in Amsterdam Cemetery, Kanawha. Visitation will be held from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Ewing Dugger Funeral Home, Kanawha, and one hour prior to services at the church. Gertie Westin was born Jan. 30, 1896, in Holland. Survivors include two sons, Carl Westin of Fort Dodge, and Henry Delger of Clarion; seven grandchildren; one sister, Ann Terhark of Britt; and one brother, Jake Delger of Albert Lea, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and three brothers.
