BRITT, Iowa-- Alice S. Severson, 89, of Britt, died Sunday (Dec. 3, 1995)at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Kanawha Lutheran Church with the Rev. David A. Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Amsterdam Cemetery, Kanawha. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Ewing Funeral Home, Kanawha, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Alice S. Severson was born Oct. 17, 1906, in Goodell. Survivors include one daughter, Marlene Smith of Britt; five sons, Gordon Severson of Luther; Eugene Severson of Belle Plaine; Milton Severson of Story City; Richard Severson of Sarasota, Fla., and Roger Severson of Hubbard; 22 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one grandson.
