Anna Rose "Annie" Knoll, 96, of Kanawha, died on Monday, March 20, 2006, at the Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City. Funeral services for Annie Knoll were held on Wednesday, March 22, at the Kanawha Christian Reformed Church with the Rev. Steve Schulz officiating. Burial was in the Amsterdam Township Cemetery near Kanawha. The Ewing-Dugger Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Annie, the daughter of Ole and Mary Marks Eenhuis, was born on March 15, 1910, at Britt. She grew up in the Kanawha area where she attended country school. Annie was united in marriage with DeWayne Knoll on June 26, 1934, by Rev. D. H. Plesscher at the Kanawha Christian Reformed Parsonage. Following their marriage the couple made their home in Kanawha. Annie was a life long member of the Kanawha Christian Reformed Church and a member of the Ladies Aid Society. She enjoyed traveling to see family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time Annie enjoyed fishing, quilting and embroidery work, cooking and baking.

She is survived by a daughter, Marlene Blankespoor and her husband, Harvey of Holland, Michigan; son, Marvin Knoll and his wife, Dolly of Willis, Texas; six grandchildren, Doug, Curt, Amber, Debbie, Chris, Cathy; nine great-grandchildren, Mitch, Jenna, Emily, Sidney, Emmett, Carson, Tanner, Collin, Kyla; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, DeWayne on March 19, 2003; an infant daughter; a great-grandson; and five sisters and two brothers.
