Marilyn Priscilla Chapman, 71, of Clarion, passed away Monday, August 6, 2007 at USA Health Care Center, Clarion. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 8th at the Ewing Dugger Helgeson Funeral Home in Clarion. Pastor Don Morrison officiated the 10:30 service. Burial was held at the Amsterdam Cemetery, Goodell.

Marilyn Priscilla Chapman was born February 18, 1936, the daughter of Charles and Lillian (Morphew) Chapman. She was raised and educated in Kanawha, graduating from Kanawha High School. She stayed on the farm and helped her parents. She enjoyed being outside. Marilyn enjoyed doll collecting, baking cookies and other things. She was a member of the Clarion Church of Christ.

Marilyn is survived by three sisters: Lillian Van Buskirk and husband Owen of Osage; Sylvia Douglas of Clarion; Hope Mortimer and husband Donnie of Allen, Texas; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Chapman.
