8 September 1901 -- 22 May 1978

Chris Abbas, 76, died Monday, May 22nd at the Kanawha Community Home. Services will be Thursday, May 25th at 2 p.m. at the Kanawha Christian Reformed Church with the Reverend John Ritsema officiating. His burial will be in Amsterdam Cemetery. Abbas is survived by his wife Grace of Kanawha, one son, Leo and his wife Faye of Kanawha; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Grace Veldhouse, Mrs. John Peters, and Mrs. Clarence Trenary all of Kanawha, four brothers, Fred, George, and Clarence of Kanawha and Anno Abbas of Britt.
