Death of Chas. Castle.
Chas. Castle, who was taken to Independence a short time ago, was brought back and buried in the Clarion cemetery, Thursday afternoon. He died the day previous. Mr. Castle was an old citizen of this community and known by nearly every person in it. In the years past he was known as one of the keenest and wittiest of men, but of late his mind was probably partly over-shadowed by the malady that 'finally carried him off. He was a hard-working man and we think an honest and conscientious one who never intentionally harmed anyone. He was about 74 years old, and leaves three children, Mrs. Chet. Livermore, Mrs. C. Leonard, and son, Charles. He was a member of the U. B. church, that is he belonged to that society here. The funeral services were con-ducted by Rev. Lambly of the M. E. church.
