INSTANTLY KILLED.
Word was received in Clarion Monday night telling of the accidental death of Charles Abrahamson of this city in the Great Western yards at Council Bluffs. Full particulars are not at hand, but it is known that he was working with the bridge gang at Minden and it is supposed he spent Sunday and Monday in Council Bluff's and when attempting to catch a train back to his work was run over and killed.
Both legs were cut off and his body badly mutilated. The remains were brought to Clarion last night, Deceased was the second son of
Mrs. John Abrahamson. He was born in Clarion and was 25 years of age last June. He had followed railroad work for several years, having been
employed at one time as firemen on the Northwestern out of Eagle Grove and in the same capacity on the Great Western at Clarion. Hе
was a good hearted boy and a good workman, but lately had become rather wild His death is a sad
one and deep sympathy is felt for the mother and other relatives. He 18 survived by two brothers.
