Lorene Frances (Bohr) Meinke
December 29, 1922 --- November 7, 1964

Mrs. Lorene Frances (Bohr) Meinke, 41, of Renwick, died Saturday afternoon, November 7, 1964 at University Hospital [Iowa City] after an illness of several months.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p. m. Tuesday at Martin Funeral Chapel in Princeton, Mo. Burial was at the Princeton cemetery.

Mrs. Meinke was born December 29, 1922 at Avoca, Minnesota, the daughter of Nicholas and Charlotte Vandament Bohr. She was married August 23, 1953 to Elmer Meinke at Richmond, Iowa. They resided in Princeton, Missouri, until the spring of 1958 and then moved to Renwick.

She was a member of the Mt. Calvary Lutheran church at Eagle Grove.

Surviving are her husband, Elmer; five children: Nikki Lou, Carl, Donna Kay, David and Curtis, her mother, Charlotte Bohr of Kalona, Iowa; three brothers: Marvin Bohr of Wellman, Iowa; Dorvin Bohr, Harper, Iowa; Joe Bohr, Princeton, Mo.; six sisters: Mrs. Harris (Mildred) Wornson, Hadley, Minn.; Mrs. Donald (Vivian) Fleming, Mrs. Joe (Lydia) Brown, Wellman; Mrs. Lester (Ellen) Reber, Mrs. Earl (Doll) Wagamen, Mrs. George (Pat) Allen, Kalona, Iowa, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father.

Mrs. Elmer Meinke, died Saturday afternoon in the University hospital in Iowa City. She leaves her husband and five children, ranging in age from a year to ten years. The children are Nikki, Carl, Donna, David and Curtis.

Funeral services were held at Princeton, Mo., Tuesday afternoon. --Renwick
