EAGLE GROVE — Funeral services for Arthur Reimers, Jr. 54, of Eagle Grove, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Kastler-Babcock-DeYoung Funeral home with the Rev. Paul Jackson officiating and with burial at Graceland cemetery in Webster City.

Mr. Reimers died Thursday at Trinity Regional hospital in Fort Dodge. Death was attributed to injuries suffered in a car-truck collision March 14 south of Clarion.

Arthur Reimers, Jr. son of Arthur and Thelma Lindsey Reimers, was born March 5, 1923 at Woolstock.

He attended school in the Vincent community.

He was married March 27, 1948 to Darlene King, of Fort Dodge at Fort Dodge. The couple lived near Duncombe for several years, then moved to Webster City where they lived until 1963. They moved at that time to Eagle Grove, where he had been employed as a truck driver for Boone Valley Co-op.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Michael of Fort Knox, Ky.; four daughters, Mrs. Terry (Kaylene) Hudspeth of Algona; Mrs. Donald (Cynthia) Huffaker of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Terry (Robin) Marvin of Brooklyn Center, Minn.; and Miss Jennifer Lea Reimers of Eagle Grove; nine grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Thelma Reimers of Webster City; one brother, Jack Reimers of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Mrs. Curt (Betty) Pieper of Fort Dodge, Mrs. George (Norma) Lundgren of Fort Dodge and Mrs. Richard (Joyce) Denker of Turlock, Calif.

He attended the Assembly of God church in Eagle Grove.

Arthur Milford Reimers. Jr., the son of Arthur and Thelma Lindsey Reimers, was born March 5, 1923 at Woolstock.

He attended school at Vincent.

On March 27, 1948 he married Darlene June King of Fort Dodge at Fort Dodge. They made their home near Duncombe for seven years when they moved to Webster City. In 1963 they moved to Eagle Grove. He was employed at the Boone Valley Co-op.

Arthur died Thursday, March 17, at the Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge as a result of an auto accident on Monday, March 14 at the age of 54 years, and 12 days.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Thelma Reimers, Webster City; one son, Michael Reimers, Ft. Knox, Ky.; four daughters: Kaylene (Mrs. Terry) Hudspeth, Algona; Cynthia (Mrs. Donald) Huffaker, Eagle Grove; Robin (Mrs. Terry) Marvin, Brooklyn Center, Minn.; Miss Jennifer Lea Reimers, Eagle Grove; one brother, John (Jack) Reimers, Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters: Betty (Mrs. Curt) Pieper, Fort Dodge: Norma (Mrs. George) Lundgren, Fort Dodge; Joyce (Mrs. Richard) Denker, Turlock, Calif.; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father in May of 1976.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 21, at 2 p.m. at the Kastler–Babcock–DeYoung Funeral Home, Eagle Grove. Rev. Paul Jackson of the Assembly of God Church officiated and burial was in the Graceland Cemetery, Webster City.
