Tena “LaVonne” Lolling, age 80 of Burnsville, passed away October 29, 2021. LaVonne was born in Kanawha, IA on May 29, 1941. She married Lanny Lee Lolling on June 3rd, 1960. They moved to West St. Paul, MN that same year. LaVonne started a home music studio where she taught piano and organ lessons for almost 30 years and was also the church organist at Grace Christian Reformed Church in Inver Grove Heights, MN for many years. LaVonne also took over as the choir director at the church and also played for many weddings, funerals, pageants, and a benefit for Divine Redeemer Hospital (The Divine Follies). After retiring from teaching music and the church, LaVonne worked as a receptionist at several local businesses. LaVonne and Lanny moved to Burnsville, MN in 1994 where they retired and still reside. LaVonne was a dedicated mother and grandmother who enjoyed traveling with her family, playing Wahoo with her boys, and going to Minnesota Twins games.

LaVonne is preceded in death by her parents, Jennie and Lawrence Johnson. Survived by her husband of 61 years, Lanny; children: Gary, Keith (Kris), and Daryl (Amy); grandchildren: Paige, Shelby (Andrew), Megan, and Taylor; great grandchildren: Avery, Amelia, and Mason; also by other loving relatives and friends.

Memorial service, 11am Saturday, Nov 6, 2021 at White Funeral Home (12804 Nicollet Ave) Burnsville. Memorial visitation from 10am followed by the service at 11am.
