Funeral services were held for Nellie Mause Licklider, daughter of George and Minerva Manning, born near Newton, Ill., Nov. 27, 1878 and came to Iowa in 1910. She was united in marriage with Allie Licklider Nov. 11, 1914 at Goldfield. To this union two children were born, Wayne of Clarion and Pauline (Mrs. Harold Jones) of Goldfield. Her husband passed away in 1940.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers. She left to mourn her loss, her children, five grandchildren, three great-grandsons and two nephews. Mrs. Licklider passed away Sunday, Oct. 22 at the Kanawha Community home where she had been a resident for ten years.

Services were held Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 25 at the United Methodist Church in Goldfield. Burial was in the Glenwood Cemetery. –The Goldfield Chronicle
