March 1, 1893 --- April 23, 1968

Miss Hall died today
Miss Frances Ellen Hall, 75, a sister of Mrs. Nick Kennedy of Webster City, died early this morning at the Hamilton County hospital. Miss Hall, a resident of San Diego, Calif., had been residing in Webster City the past several weeks. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church with Father Thomas R. Bisenius officiating and with burial on the family lot on the Calvary Grove. Rosary will be at 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Foster Funeral Home.

Miss Hall was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in San Diego, California and was an active member of the Legion of Mary and the Rosary Society.

Frances Ellen Hall, daughter of Benjamin and Etta Cronin Hall was born March 1, 1893 on a farm near Grand Forks, North Dakota. In April 1907 she moved with her parents to Webster City where she was reared and educated. She was later graduated from the School of Nursing at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Minnesota. Following her graduation she moved to San Diego, California where for many years she engaged in private nursing at Mercy Hospital.

Miss Hall is survived by five brothers and three sisters, Charles Hall, Belmond; Roy Hall, Eagle Grove; Joseph Hall, Waterloo; Jack Hall, Detroit Michigan; Franklin Hall, Fort Collins, Colorado; Mrs. Chester (Etta) Hadden, St. Charles, Missouri; Miss Iva Hall, Waterloo and Mrs. Nick (Margaret) Kennedy, Webster City and 26 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother James Hall.

Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hadden formerly of Eagle Grove, and their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gould of St. Charles, Mo., were here Friday and called on Mrs. Charles Knoble at the Rotary Ann Home. They came at this time to see Mrs. Hadden's sister, Mrs. Frances Hall Schmit of San Diego, Calif., who is critically ill in the hospital at Webster City. While there they were house guests of Mrs. Hadden's sister, Mrs. Margaret Kennedy. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hall are also making frequent trips to Webster City to see his sister, also, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Hall of Fort Collins, Colo., and Joe Hall of Waterloo have been there to see her. Joe Hall went to San Diego, and accompanied his sister by plane to Waterloo where the Roy Hall's met her and brought her to Webster City.
