Deaths. –Incidentally we learn that John Wasem, of Eagle Grove, lost two children from diphtheria last week and that another child is dangerously ill from the same cause. A sore affliction indeed.

Death has been doing its solemn work in this and Eagle Grove township.

The family circle of John Wasem has been entered also by the grim messenger and two bright boys plucked therefrom. A severe affliction, indeed, and one in which the bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.

There are quite a number on the sick list but none considered dangerous save a little son of John Wasem, who is ill with diphtheria and thought to be past recovery.
