Mrs. Louis [Lewis] Wampler died at her home southwest of Holmes Tuesday morning, March 3rd. She left a husband and five children to mourn her loss.

The funeral was held Wednesday and the remains taken to the Goldfield cemetery for interment. The bereaved family has the heartfelt sympathy of a large circle of friends.

Mrs. Lewis Wampler, who lived three miles southwest of town, died Tuesday morning after a short illness. Mrs. Wampler's death was no surprise to those who knew her best as she had been in very poor health for several years. All that loving hands could do was done for her, but of no avail. She leaves a husband and five children to mourn her loss, one an infant son only a few days old. Mrs. Wampler was laid to rest in the Goldfield cemetery Thursday. Relatives of deceased were present from Webster City, Nevada and Tipton Iowa. The family have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement.
