Charles Colvin, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. David Colvin, died Sunday, Oct. 22, after a long and painful illness. The child, only four years old, suffered greatly during the last few days of his sickness from an affliction of the brain and nerves, and death came as a release from his suffering.

The funeral services were held in the M. E. church Monday. Rev. Harwood preached from the text, "Let not your heart be troubled," and the little body was laid to rest in our “city of the dead.”
