October 9, 1932 ---- October 1, 2021

Dwight Ferguson journeyed to his heavenly home on Friday, October 1st 2021, eight days before his 89th birthday. He answered his nation’s call and served with pride in the Korean war. When he came home he met the love of his life in Eagle Grove when he met Shirley Larson. They raised a family of 5, teaching them a lifestyle of love and hardwork. He worked for Georgia Pacific in Fort Dodge and retired from there after 40 years. He tried retirement, but it took him a few more short term jobs for it to actually take. When he passed over, he was greeted by his daughter Sherry who preceded him in 1988, his wife who preceded him in 2011 and his eldest son Merrill in 2015. Celebrating his life are his son, Nels (Suzzan) Ferguson, granddaughter ChaRee and great grandkids, Duncan and Bella, his daughter, Debra Ferguson and his son Gary Ferguson.

According to his wishes, a memorial service will be held during service at his Church home, Winds of Fire located at 120 9th St. NW, Fort Dodge, Iowa 50501 at 10AM on October 10th 2021.
