Keith Adolph Claude, age 93, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 after a short illness. Keith was born September 12, 1927 in Dows, Iowa. He was a graduate of Owasa High School in Owasa, Iowa.

He very proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany. Upon his return to the US he attended Coyne Electrical School in Chicago eventually becoming a Master Electrician. While doing work at the Masonic Lodge in Marshalltown, Iowa he meet the love of his Elizabeth (Betty) Forbes. They were married 63 years and raised 2 daughters in Marshalltown, before moving to rural Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1979.

Keith was an avid camper and adored traveling around the country. He enjoyed fishing with his friends in Minnesota, and bowling with his wife in their bowling league. Keith was a proud member of IBEW for over 65 years. He enjoyed going on drives in his truck and is driving around heaven with his wife by his side. He never lost his sense of humor and thought he could fix everything. Keith is deeply missed by all who loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Cindy Olson and husband Jon of Plano, Texas, and Carolyn Stiles and husband Larry David of Moss Bluff, Louisiana; grandson, David Stiles; great-grandson, Willie Stiles; and his sister, Ina Mae Ward of Nevada, Iowa. Plus many nieces and nephews who were a big part of his life. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Betty) Claude; sister, Iva Wallace; and his parents, Adolph and Nancy Claude.

Services will be held in Marshalltown, Iowa at a later date. The family thanks the loving care givers from Home Instead and the staff of Christus Ochsner St. Patrick hospital in Lake Charles.
