Edna Jergenson
18 February 1904 ---- 27 December 1994

Edna Jergenson was born on February 18, 1904 at Florence, Iowa to Ole and Christina Johnson Jergenson. She attended country school in Dayton Township, Wright County, Iowa. She lived with her parents on the farm until her father died, and then she and her mother moved to Eagle Grove, living with her aunt, Livie Johnson. She had been a resident of the Rotary Ann Nursing home since 1981. She was a lifetime member of the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Edna Jergenson died at Trinity Regional Hospital, Fort Dodge, on December 27, 1994 at the age of 90
years, 10 months, and 9 days. She is survived by one brother, Art Jergenson and his wife, Cordel,
Kanawha; one sister, Selma Eaton, Fort Dodge; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, George, Ode, Chris, and Sam; five sisters, Lindie Bruhl, Clara Bruhl, Gertie Johnson, Celia Peterson, and Beatrice Mathias.

Funeral services were held on Thursday morning, December 29, 1994 at the Eagle Grove Evangelical
Lutheran Church. Reverend Maynard Moen officiated the 11 a.m. service. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. The Willim Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
