Paul Henry Rasmussen, son of Chris L. and Rosa Helmer Rasmussen, was born in Wright County, Iowa on July 27, 1900 and passed away at the Lutheran Hospital, Fort Dodge, Ia. on September 8, 1969 having reached the age of 69 years, 1 month and 11 days.

He received his education in the Wright County Schools. Paul never married. He spent most of his life farming in the Eagle Grove community, and upon retiring made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Novak the past two years

He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to mourn his passing three brothers: Ralph and Oliver of Goldfield, and Roy of Clarion, two sisters: Lola, Mrs. Clarence Odland of Dows, and Mary, Mrs. Leo Eblen of Hoffman, Minn.

Funeral services were held September 11, 1969 at 2 p. m. at the Samuel Lutheran Church, Eagle Grove, with Rev. Marvin L. Dooley officiating. Interment was held on the family lot in Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield.
