Daisy Rasmussen died at the Sisson Nursing home at Humboldt on Monday. She had been in poor health for several years.

She is survived by one son, Raymond of St. Paul, Minn., one grandson, two granddaughters and three sisters and one great grandson. Her husband preceded her in death many years ago.

Funeral servicers will be held on Thursday at the Methodist church in Goldfield with Rev. J. Howard Machlan officiated. –Goldfield Chronicle.

Daisy (Helmer) Rasmussen was born near Grundy Center Feb. 19, 1875 and departed this life at Sisson’s Nursing Home in Humboldt Feb. 29 having attained the age of 85 years and 10 days.

At the age of 17 years, she came with her parents and settled near Goldfield. On Feb. 18th, 1899 she was united in marriage to John B. Rasmussen. He passed away on Feb. 20, 1933. They were the parents of one child Raymond, who resides in St. Paul, Minn. She had many friends and was loved by all who knew her. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Mrs. Rasmussen is survived by her son Raymond, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren all of St. Paul, Minn. Also, by three sisters, Flora Slaikeu, who lives in California, Iva (Mrs. John McCutcheon) of Goldfield and Pearl (Mrs. Roy Whyman) of Ganado, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. March 3 in the Methodist Church at Goldfield. Rev. Machlan officiated.
