Belmond

Henry Oliver Polmateer was born in Belmond on February 9, 1875. He was the son of William and Betsy Polmateer. On March 5, 1900, he was married to Mary Calhoun. Mr. Polmateer attended the Congregational church with fidelity and regularity. On Wednesday, June 10, 1942, Mr. Polmateer passed away at his home in north Belmond at the age of 67 years, 5 months and 6 days.

Mr. Polmateer leaves to mourn his death, his wife, eight children and fifteen grandchildren. They are Mrs. Hattie Davis, Belmond, Mrs. Ruth Aigley, Belmond, Alvy Polmateer, Shell Rock, Emil Polmateer, Belmond, Mrs. Ella Drestler, Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Vivian Galloway, Mason City, George Polmateer, Belmond and Mrs. Edna Oelberg of Clear Lake. One son preceeded Mr.
Polmateer in death.

Henry O. Polmateer, 67, died at his home in Belmond on Wednesday, June 10.

He is survived by his wife, eight children and fifteen grandchildren. He was born in Belmond on February 9, 1875, the son of William and Betsy Polmateer. He wife is the former Mary Calhoun.
