Anna (Lima) Mortvet
8 January 1891 --- 6 March 1966

Mrs. Anna Mortvet, 721 N. W. 3rd St., died Sunday at the Community Memorial Hospital, Clarion, where she was a patient for two weeks.

Mrs. Mortvet is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Willard Tokheim of Eagle Grove and Mrs. Robert Blackmore of Santa Clara, Calif. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Samuel Lutheran church with Pastor H. W. Schiller officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Mortvet was born Jan 8, 1891 in Gjestal, Stavanger, Norway. She came to America in April of 1915 and came directly to Eagle Grove and made her home at the Andrew Egeland residence.

She was married Oct. 21, 1920 to Mike Mortvet in Eagle Grove and they made their home in Eagle Grove. Mr. Mortvet was employed by the Chicago and North Western R. R. and he died in 1956.

In addition to her daughters, Gladys and Gertrude, she is survived by two grandchildren, three brothers and five sisters, Ray Swenson of Eagle Grove, Arnie Lima, Sven Lima, Mrs. Jonas Umdern, Miss Marie Lima, Miss Astrid Lima, Mrs. Isassc Egleland, and Mrs. Rasmus Oltevigs all Stavanger, Norway.
