Esther Marie Stueland Holck
27 July 1914 --- 6 December 2002

Esther M. Holck died on Friday, December 6, 2002, at the USA Health Care of Clarion, at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harley Holck; a brother, Leonard Stueland; and a nephew, Eugene Stueland. Survivors include her brother, Alvin Stueland, Goldfield, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews.

Esther Marie Stueland, the daughter of Erick and Mamie Stueland was born on July 27, 1914, in Boyd, Minn. She graduated from Eagle Grove High School, in 1933. She was united in marriage to Harley Holck of Kanawha, Iowa, on February 11, 1951. They lived and farmed northeast of Eagle Grove until retiring and moving to Eagle Grove in 1974. Her husband died in September of 1984. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove, and the Esther Circle.

Graveside [Rose Hill Cemetery] services will be held at a later date. Foust Funeral Home of Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
