Laura Frances Kennedy Hasbrouck
21 August 1894 --- 30 July 1981

Laura Frances Hasbrouck, the daughter of David and Sabena Quinn Kennedy, was born August 21, 1894 at Lawler, Iowa. She died at the Eisenhower Convalescent Hospital in Pasadena, Calif, on July 30, 1981 at the age of 87 years, 11 months and nine days. She grew up and attended school at Osakis, Minn. She was united in marriage with Earl Hasbrouck on June 22, 1925 at Osakis, Minn. The family lived at Grundy Center, Iowa; Alexandria, Minn.; Eagle Grove and Goldfield.

Mr. Hasbrouck died in 1951. Mrs. Hasbrouck had made her home in California since 1968. She is survived by her children: Elizabeth, Mrs. Don Walper, Pasadena, Calif.; Earlene, Mrs. Earl Hulshizer, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Mary Jo, Mrs. John Reichling, Woodstock, Ill.; David Hasbrouck, Hesperia, Calif.; Albert Hasbrouck, Goldfield; two brothers, Les Quinn, Plainfield, Ill.; James Quinn, Alexandria, Minn.; three step-sisters, Mrs. Mildred Johnson, North Hollywood, Calif.; Mrs. Gertrude Nelson, Sun Valley, Calif.; Mrs. Evelyn Linow, Osakis, Minn.; 16 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a granddaughter, two step-brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. Laura F. Hasbrouck were held on Thursday, Aug. 6, 1981 at 9 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in Eagle Grove. Rev. John Hemann officiated and burial was in the Calvary Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Scripture services were held at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m.
