John Wesley Anderson
13 January 1917 --- 7 April 1966

Funeral services for John W. Anderson, 49, were held Saturday at 3:10 p.m. at Eagle Grove Methodist Church. The Rev. Bernard Olson officiated, and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Military rites were held at the graveside by the American Legion.

Mr. Anderson became suddenly ill while at work at the M and M Livestock Products Company early Thursday and was rushed to Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Dodge, where he died a short time later.

Born and reared at Fontanelle, he married Pauline Hennigar at Clarion in 1945. They resided at Clarion and at Delano, Minn., before moving to Eagle Grove 13 years ago. Mr. Anderson was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, four children, Mrs. Dean Richtsmeier of Eagle Grove, Brian, Kevin, and Pamela, all at home. Also surviving are two brothers and four sisters, Kenneth Anderson of Rainier, Ore., James Anderson and Mrs. W. C Rose of Des Moines, Mrs. Bernard Houchin of Anita, Mrs. Harry Slezak of Orient, and Mrs. Wilbur Cramer of Iowa City.
