Alfred George Jorgensen
27 March 1895 --- 1 March 1961

Alfred George Jorgensen, born March 27, 1895 in Goldfield, Iowa, son of Peter and Sarah Jorgensen. He was united in marriage in 1915 to Elizabeth Rink of Baker, Mont. To this union was born three children, Evelyn who passed away in 1916, Harlan, and James Jorgensen. Alfred Jorgensen passed away suddenly on March 1, 1961 in Milwaukee, Wis., where he has been a resident for the past 20 years.

His early years were spent farming in the Goldfield – Eagle Grove area. Surviving are two sons, Harlan and James of Fort Dodge. Two brothers, Howard of Eagle Grove and Elmer of Clarion. Also, by four grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday March 4, 1961 at 2:00 p.m. from the Sacquety Funeral Home of Eagle Grove, officiated by Rev. Jordan T. Jacobsen. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery of Eagle Grove.
