Katherine J. Gabrielson, 40, of Belmond, died Wednesday (May 16, 1990) at the Belmond Community Hospital. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Jim Carpenter and the Rev. Bill Bentzinger officiating. The body was cremated and burial will be in the Belmond Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation. Tenold Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Gabrielson is survived by her husband, Joel, Belmond; two children, Sara and Jeff, both at home; her parents, Frank and Janette Pollitt, Belmond; one sister, Susan Pollitt of Ames; and one brother, Jim Pollitt of Belmond. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
