Former Hardy man in fatal car accident
Timothy Westre, 23, Chicago, Ill., formerly of Hardy, was killed Monday evening in a car accident at Skokie, Ill. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hardy, with burial in the church cemetery.

Surviving are the widow, Debbie; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Westre, brother, Gene, Hardy; and sister, Miss Mae Westre, Hardy. Mr. Westre was born at Hardy and married Debbie Lu Parker. He was an assistant manager of K-Mart in Chicago. Mrs. Westre is the former Debby Parker, daughter of Mrs. Dean Huffaker and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hilpipre of Eagle Grove.
