29 September 1889 ---- 28 December 1913

This community was shocked to hear of the sudden death of Erick Gudmonson who was kicked by a horse at the Severt Stockdale farm near Nuel, Sunday evening, December 27. He lived only a short time after the accident. Erick Gudmonson was only a few years in this country from his native land Norway and worked around as a farm hand and this last year worked for Frank Guggisberg near Vincent and was a young man of good habits and pleasant and friendly with all who knew him. Funeral services were held Wednesday December 31 at Nuel and burial at Rose Hill cemetery.
