Judy Nelson, 78, of Fort Dodge, died March 6, 2021 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. Wednesday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Gunderson Funeral Chapel with burial to be held in North Lawn Cemetery.

Judith Elaine Milliken, daughter of Richard and Vivian (Hayes) Milliken, was born October 11, 1942 in Fort Dodge. She attended school in Otho. Judy worked at the Starlite, Misty Harbor and Dollar Tree, retiring in 2013. On September 4, 2010 she married Jim Nelson Jr.

Judy enjoyed garage and estate sales, crafting, sewing, jewelry making, mushroom hunting and in younger years bowling.

Survivors include her husband Jim; her children, Brenda (Boyd) Nelson of Clearwater, FL, Anthony Trueblood and Kenneth (Kathy) Trueblood all of Fort Dodge, Cyndee (Rob) Westrum of Otho; her step-children Kenny (Brittany) Nelson and Nickedda (Bradley) Conklin; 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Vivian, her sister Leeora and brother Forrest “Butch” Milliken.
