Services for Raymond Larson, 79, Renwick, were held Tuesday, April 24, 1984 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church with burial in the Vernon Township Cemetery. Rev. Oliver Everson officiated. He died Saturday, April 21, at his home in Renwick.

Raymond Gerhard Larson was born Aug. 31, 1904 to Thomas and Margaret Larson. He lived all his younger years in Eagle Grove. On May 12, 1928 he married Frances E. Bonleewee [Bronleewe]. They farmed for a number of years in the Eagle Grove and Renwick areas and in 1975 they moved to Renwick.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; daughters, Mrs. Betty Ann Kuehn, Dubuque; Mrs. Eugene (Marilyn) Jacques, Longmont, Colo.; sons, Richard Larson, Sioux City and Ronald Larson,
Goldfield; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Hilda Oldson, Oakland, Calif, and Mrs. Louise Thompson, Eagle Grove.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and four brothers. Raymond was a member of the St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Vernon Consolidated School Board and former building inspector for the town of Renwick. He was a dedicated sports fan.

Garry-Roberts-Schaaf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
