Funeral services for Mrs. Matilda Wulff Keen, 80, mother of Mrs. Walter Sievers of Carroll, were conducted at 2:30 Sunday afternoon, Sept. 16, at Sacquety Chapel in Eagle Grove. The Rev. Kenneth R. Torvik officiated. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Sievers attended the rites.

Mrs. Keen died at the Askvig Nursing Home, Eagle Grove, Friday, Sept. 14. She was born to Wilhelm and Augusta Wulff at Damien, Germany, August 8, 1876, and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Germany. In 1897 at the age of 21 she came to this country. She lived in Webster City until 1910 when she married Edward M. Keen on July 23 and moved to Eagle Grove.

Surviving with her daughter, Mrs. Sievers (Minnie) are one grandchild, one great-grandchild and several cousins. A son Edward Michael died in infancy.

Mrs. Mathilda Keen, 80, died Friday at the Askvig-Crickmore Nursing Home where she had been a patient for eight years. Mrs. Keen is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Walter Sievers of Carroll, one grandchild and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Sacquety Funeral Chapel, in charge of Rev. Kenneth Torvik. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.
