Jennie Stella Mosher Melhus
12 April 1910 --- 27 December 1955

Jennie Stella Mosher was born April 12, 1910 at Clarion, Iowa, the daughter of Lendall and Daisy Mosher. She died December 27th, in Iowa City. She was raised in Eagle Grove, where she was baptized in the Methodist Church, attended the public school. She was united in marriage November 30, 1931, to Irving Melhus.

She is survived by her husband, Irving, three sisters, Mrs. Vernon Rohrer of Clarion, Mrs. Omer Anderson of Thor, Mrs. George Wilcox of Durand, Michigan, and two brothers, Thurmon Mosher of Seattle, Washington, and Elmer Mosher of Goodridge, Minnesota. Her mother, at an early age, preceded her in death and her father and a sister, Mrs. Lillian Duffy at a later date.

Funeral services were held Dec. 29th in the Eagle Grove Methodist church, in charge of Rev. John Serivner of Vincent. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
