Camp Hill. – The Rev. John (Jack) Jones, 71, of 9 Rockaway Drive, Camp Hill, minister of visitation at Christ Community Church, died Friday morning at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. He was the husband of Dottie (Chaney) Jones.

The service will be 6 p.m. Sunday at Christ Community Church, Camp Hill. Burial will be noon Monday in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport, Md. Viewing will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Community Church, Route 15 at Slate Hill Road, Camp Hill, 17051. The Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, j305 W. Front St., Lewisberry, is in charge of arrangements.

The Rev. Jones was born in Webster City, Iowa, the son of the late John M. and Sylvia (Studley) Jones.

He was a graduate of Beulah Heights Bible College, Atlanta. He was previously a pastor at Acosta, Pa, Lebanon, Cambridge and Joppa, Md.

He also is survived by three sons, John W. Jones, Joppa, Milford R. Jones, Pleasanton, Calif., and Dr. Leonard R. Jones, Camp Hill; six grandchildren; and two brothers, Richard B. Jones, White Water, Calif., and Leonard O. Jones, Winner, S.D.

Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. Larry Titus, assisted by the Rev. Larry Gasteiger and the Rev. Steve Boyer.
