Earl William Scott, Sr.
16 December 1927 ---- 6 August 1982

Earl William Scott, 54, 1501 S. 15th St., died Friday morning at Trinity Regional Hospital [in Fort Dodge]. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Fry, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Carpenter Cemetery. Friends may call at Bruce Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Sudnay (sic).

Surviving are his wife, Anna; sons, Thomas Robert Scott, North Liberty, Iowa; Earl William Scott Jr., at home; daughters, Mrs. Paul (Patricia) Christenson, Webster City; Candy Lou Scott, Fort Dodge and five grandchildren.

Mr. Scott was born at Dows, and attended schools in Dows and Estherville.

He married Anna Jane Peterson in 1949 in Estherville. They lived there for about a year before moving to Fort Dodge in 1950. Later they lived in Armstrong and Buffalo Center, where he was employed as an auto mechanic. They returned to Fort Dodge in 1963. Mr; Scott had been a mechanic for Bob Kidd Olds.
