Leolla Isabelle Echelberger Lampson
17 September 1904 --- 11 September 1975

Funeral services for Mrs. Leolla I. Lampson, 70, of Pomona, California formerly of Dows were held Monday from the Presbyterian Church in Dows. The Rev. Judith Cook officiated at the last rites and burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Willim Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lampson and William McMinn were traveling to Iowa to visit her brothers and sister when she suffered a heart attack at Canadian, Texas and died there on Thursday afternoon.

She was born on September 17, 1904 at Lehigh, Iowa and was the daughter of George and Minnie Widick Echelberger. In 1909 she moved with her family to a farm west of Dows and received her education and grew to womanhood in the Dows area. In 1930 she moved to California and was a L.P.N. at a rehabilitation hospital there. She retired two years ago.

Mrs. Lampson is survived by two brothers and one sister: Ross Echelberger of Dows; Adrion O. Echelberger of Belmond and Mrs. Fay King of Dows. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
