EAGLE GROVE, March 6.---Funeral services for Mrs. Jesse Bodine, 70, a former resident of Eagle Grove, where the family resided for over 20 years, were held here Tuesday. The service was in charge of the Rev. J. C. Eaton, a former pastor of the Baptist church and burial was made in the cemetery at Goldfield.

Mrs. Bodine, whose maiden name was Laura Parr, was born in Cedar county and came to Eagle Grove when a young girl, in 1881. She was married to Jesse Bodine in Eagle Grove, and in 1903 the family moved to Rapid City. Mrs. Bodine died in a hospital at Yankton, S. Dak., where she has been taking treatment, having been an invalid for a number of years.

Surviving her, beside her husband, are two sons, Russell and Ival; two sisters, Mrs. A. L. Hoover of Des Moines, and Mrs. A. B. Richardson of Renwick, Iowa, also three grandchildren.
