7 July 1880 --- 12 August 1972

Funeral services for Miss Hulda Wenkalmann of Dows were held Monday (August 14, 1972) from the Willim Funeral Home. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery. Miss Wenkalmann was 92 years old and died on Saturday (August 12, 1972) at Golden Acres Manor in Dows where she had made her home for the past several years.

She was born July 7, 1880 at Oskoch, [Oshkosh] Wisconsin and was the daughter of Lewis and Hannah Fanselow Wenkalmann. She spent most of her life in Dows and she and her sister, Alice were known as fine seamstresses in years past.

Her only survivors are a niece and several nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
