Dows - Kenneth Dietrich, 58, a former Dows resident, died Saturday at his home in Alcester, South Dakota. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Willim-Van Hove Funeral Home in Dows. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.

Born June 9, 1910 at Popejoy, he was the son of Jacob and Katheryn Dietrich. He was married to Avon Trousdale at Popejoy, August 29, 1936.

Surviving are his wife; his mother, in Dows; a son, Marlyn in the U.S. Navy; a daughter, Mrs. Roger Buum, Chamberlain, South Dakota; six grandchildren; a sister, Miss Arlene Dietrich, Omaha and a half-brother, G. N. Gidner of Houston, Texas.
