Raynard C. Richardson, 79, former Goldfield resident, died Thursday morning, Oct. 25,1984, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix, Ariz.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth; sons, Kenneth, Anchorage, Alaska; Deane, Worthington, Ohio; Edward, Fort Dodge; daughter, Mary McBee, Meadview, Ariz. and six grandchildren.

Raynard was born April 22,1905 on a farm near Holmes. He graduated from Goldfield High School and attended the University of Iowa. He married Ruth Whyte in 1926.

Raynard farmed near Goldfield until 1958 at which time they moved to Goldfield. During this time, he sold real estate and insurance. Raynard served as vice president of the Wright County Farm Bureau, Wright County voting registrar, president of the Wright County Historical Society, Goldfield United Methodist Church Sunday School Superintendent, president of the United Methodist Church Board, and president of Goldfield Businessmen's Association.

Since 1972 Raynard and Ruth Richardson have been living in Kingman, Ariz.

Memorial services will be held at Goldfield United Methodist Church on Nov. 3 at 1:30 p.m.
