Services for Mrs. Ruby Worra, 73, who died Friday afternoon at the Clarion community Memorial hospital, were at 1:30 p. m. Monday at the Lutheran church in Holmes with burial in the Holmes cemetery. The Eyler Funeral home was in charge.

Surviving are a daughter, Miss Phyllis Worra, St. Louis, Mo.; a son, Bernard, Clarion; a sister, Mrs. Ted Koltvet, Clarion; five brothers, Richard Weeks, Rapid City, S. D., Seward Weeks, Antioch, Ill.; Silferd Weeks, Milwaukee, Wis., Raymond and Leonard Weeks, Sturgis [Sturgeon] Bay, Wis.

Ruby Weeks was reared in the community north of Holmes, following her marriage to Amos Worra the couple lived in Holmes where they operated a grocery store for many years. They moved to Milwaukee where they made their home until Mr. Worra's death. Mrs. Worra then returned to Clarion.

Funeral services for Ruby Worra, who died Friday, afternoon, Jan. 24, were held at the Holmes Lutheran church on Jan. 27, 1969. Rev. Marvin Dooley conducted the services. Burial was in the Holmes cemetery and the Eyler Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Ruby Weeks Worra was born Sept. 4, 1893 to parents, Oliver and Racheal [Randvig] Weeks in Slater, Iowa.

She was baptized in Slater, Iowa, and confirmed in the Lutheran Church at Holmes, Iowa.

She left a note in her Bible saying she was "born again" in November, 1905.

In 1915 she married Amos Worra. They lived in Holmes, where they were in business from 1916 to 1934. In 1936 they moved to their farm at Osceola, Iowa, in 1951 they sold their farm and moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where they lived for sixteen years. In April 1967 they moved to Clarion, Iowa to retire.

Ruby entered the Clarion Memorial Hospital January 21st and died Friday afternoon, January 24, 1969.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and five brothers.

She is survived by two children, Phyllis Jean of St. Louis, Mo. and Bernard of Clarion, Iowa. A sister, Helen, Mrs. Theo. Koltvet and five brothers, Seward Weeks of Antioch. Ill., Leonard of Sturgeon Bay, Wis., Richard of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Silferd and Raymond of Milwaukee, Wis., also survive.
