Hellick Worra the hardware merchant at Holmes died quite suddenly at his home Sunday night. He had looked after his business as usual the week previous and attended church services both morning and evening on the day of his death. Upon retiring that night, he suddenly fell to the floor. The death of Hellick Worra occurred at Holmes Sunday night. Mr. Worra had been in his usual good health and had attended church services twice that day. As he was preparing for bed he suddenly fell to the floor. He was assisted into bed and soon after was apparently feeling as well as usual. Not long after he had another attack from which he never recovered, death claiming him before a physician arrived. His death was due to the rupture of a blood vessel above the heart.

Mr. Worra was born in Norway and at the time of his death was sixty-four years of age. For the past seventeen years he has been engaged in the hardware business in Holmes where he has done well. His wife died several years ago. Six children, mostly all grown, mourn his death.

The funeral services were held at 1 o'clock p. m. yesterday at the Norwegian church at Holmes, and the remains were laid to rest beside the wife and one daughter, who had preceded him, in the Norwegian cemetery north of that place.

Holmes

H. Worra was stricken suddenly Sunday evening, April 25th, at about 10 o'clock with rupture of a blood vessel and heart failure, and before a physician could be procured passed away, with only the writer and two of his children at his side Mr. Worra had been in his usual good health, and during the day had visited his daughter who lives about one-half mile east of town, and in the evening had attended church services. On returning from church, he spent some time reading his Bible, as was his custom before retiring. Mr. Worra was preparing for bed when stricken, and a heavy fall brought his son and daughter to his room, who found him lying on the floor beside the bed partly unconscious. He was lifted into bed and help summoned, but he only spoke a few words and that with difficulty, never regaining consciousness, and passed away Monday morning.

Mr. Worra was born in Stavanger, Norway, May 24, 1844, and when nineteen years old came to this country and settled in Pontiac, Ill., where he lived until seventeen years ago when he moved to this place and engaged in farming, which occupation he followed until six years ago, when he sold his farm and moved to Madison, Minn., living there three years and then moved back to this place and engaged in the hardware business, which occupation he was following when taken away. Mr. Worra was a man who attended strictly to his own business, consequently had no enemies, but a host of friends who will miss his familiar face.

The funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Rev. Sletten, who spoke both in Norwegian and English, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Holmes cemetery southwest of town, beside his wife and daughter.

Mr. Worra leaves surviving him seven children, two sons and five daughters, all of whom were present at the funeral except one daughter living in North Dakota. There were also relatives present at the funeral from Radcliffe and Dolliver, Iowa, Madison, Minn., and Lecture, S. D. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad affliction.
