November 9, 1940 ---— December 22, 2020

Beverly Kay Bonnstetter, age 80, of Fort Dodge passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at the Fort Dodge Health and Rehabilitation Facility. Private Family services are at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at the Lentz Funeral Home in Humboldt. Public visitation is 10 a.m.until service time on Thursday, with masks required, and social distancing practices will be followed.

Beverly Kay Humphrey, the daughter of Carl and Velva (Plunkett) Humphrey, was born Nov. 9, 1940, in Algona. She graduated from Algona High School in 1958. On Dec. 31, 1959, Beverly was united in marriage with Donald Bonnstetter in West Bend. She had owned and operated Don’s Place in Burt with her husband. Later she worked as a dispatcher for Umthum Trucking in Eagle Grove and later Smithway Motors in Fort Dodge. Bev’s quick wit and one liners made her loved by all of her family and friends. She also enjoyed reading books, cooking for her family and taking care of her dog Rudy.

Left to cherish Beverly’s memory are her children, Julie (Lon) Kelling of Blaine, Minn., Jill (Brett) Kampen of Humboldt, Jennifer (Franklin) Guglietta of Port Saint Lucie, Fla., and Jocelyn (Michael) Riley of Harlan; grandchildren, Kelsey (Jon) Tilton of Humboldt, Cameron Kelling of Mankato, Minn., Maddie Kampen of Des Moines, Mitch Kampen of Gilmore City, Gabe Guglietta of Port Saint Lucie, Fla., and Arden and Gage Riley of Harlan; and sister Ardis (David) Baruck of Kent, Wash. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and granddaughter Kayla Kelling.
