Funeral services for Edward Duane Rohrback, 75, were held from the Eyler-Willim Funeral Chapel on Friday, April 15 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Richard T. Hohl officiated and burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. He died at the Community Memorial Hospital on Wednesday evening.

Mrs. George Baker was the organist and Mrs. Edward Stupka was the vocalist. Bearers were: J R. Ashpole, Harold Turk, Donald Sharp, Lawrence Filble, Victor Strever and Stanley Herndon.

Duane was born at Clarion [Oelwein] where he spent his entire life. He had worked for over 30 years for the Greatwestern Railroad as a brakeman. He was married to Irene Butler on March 1, 1929 at Waterloo and she died in 1975. In 1977 he moved to the Clarion Care Center.

He is survived by one son, Gary of Goldfield and two grandchildren.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Senior Citizens and Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
