Christensen, Bernard 'Chris' Age 95, of Blaine, MN, died peacefully Sunday, Dec 6th, 2020. He was the son of Bernard and Alice (Jensen) Christensen. He was born in Colfax, WI where he lived for 13 years before the family returned to Eagle Grove, Iowa where he attended Eagle Grove High School before joining and proudly serving his country during World War II as the acting Chief Electrician aboard the USS Ebert. While attending the U of M for some electrical training, he met Pearl Rogers during a blind date. The two were united in marriage in 1944 and were together until her passing in 2012.

In 1963 he started his company, Christie's Welding, and continued to weld until the age of 91 when he retired. He had a passion for flying airplanes, fishing and hunting.

Chris is preceded in death by his wife Pearl. Survived by sons, Michael Christensen (Jan), Terry Christensen (fiancée Jeanne) and Todd Christensen (Cindy); 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other loving relatives and friends.
