Two Drowned at Eagle Grove.
Eagle Grove, March 19.—Dr. Travis and Oliver Kirkburg, both prominent citizens of this place, were drowned near here to-day while attempting to cross the Boone river which has been greatly swollen by the recent floods. The double fatality has cast a deep gloom over the entire community as both men were widely known and highly esteemed.
