John D. "Mac" McCallum, 77, of 2508 E. Thirty-fifth St, died of a stroke and heart ailment Saturday at Des Moines General Hospital. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Glendale Cemetery.

A retired projectionist and repairman for Des Moines theaters, Mr. McCallum was born in Goldfield and lived here 50 years. He was a member of Sheridan Park United Methodist Church, Capital Masonic Lodge 110, Scottish Rite Bodies and Za-Ga-Zig Shrine.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Sally Lou VanHorn of Des Moines; and a sister, MayBelle Vanderlinden of Hardy, Ark.

Friends may call at Hamilton's Funeral Home after 10 a.m. today. The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to Sheridan Park United Methodist Church
