Alice A. (Lieuwen) Bryant
July 29, 1935 ---- August 15, 2020

Alice A. (Lieuwen) Bryant, 85 of Plymouth, Minnesota and formerly of Goodell, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Cornerstone Assisted Living in Plymouth, Minnesota. Graveside service for Alice Bryant will be Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Amsterdam Cemetery in Goodell, Iowa.

Those planning to attend the graveside service are invited to bring a lawn chair. Those in attendance will be asked to follow social distancing guidelines and encouraged to wear a face covering.

Alice Ann (Lieuwen) Bryant, the daughter of George and Jennie (Albers) Lieuwen, was born July 29, 1935 in Belmond, Iowa. Alice grew up in the Goodell area and graduated from Belmond High School with the class of 1952.

After high school, Alice moved around before she found her niche. She settled in Minneapolis in 1957 and began her 40 year career with Northwest Airlines. She began as a ticket agent and worked her way up to district sales agent. A highlight in her career was when she was the Northwest Airlines liaison for United Way fundraising.

Her passion followed closely to her career. She enjoyed traveling, experiencing new adventures and seeing the whole world. She loved meeting new people and sharing her travel experiences with stories and pictures. She also loved wearing hats and was often seen with one that she had had custom made or had picked up during one of her many trips.

Alice is survived by her son, Mike Bryant of Ames, Iowa; grandson Mike (Lisa) Bryant and their children Emma and Charlie of Blaine, Minnesota; granddaughter Diana (Matt) Kain and their children AJ and Victoria of Iowa City, Iowa; step-grandson Jeff (Carissa) Calentine and their son Rylen of LaVista, Nebraska; step-granddaughter Christen (Matt) Harer and their sons Jack and Charlie of Middleton, Wisconsin; step-grandson David Calentine of Ames, Iowa; and sister Shirley Fulton of Belmond, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Jack Fulton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Cornerstone Assisted Living of Plymouth, 3750 Lawndale Lane North, Plymouth, Minnesota 55446-0333.
