Marie Alma Meyer, 87, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, departed her earthly life on March 6, 2020 at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls, Iowa. A private family service will be held. She was born in Dows, Iowa to Carl Gottlieb and Alma (Olson) Weber. Marie was the youngest of seven children.

Marie graduated from Dows High School in 1949. She married the love of her life, Marvin Meyer, on September 25, 1953 at Dows Presbyterian Church. She was employed with Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for 31 years. Marie was an avid bird watcher and could identify all of the bird species that visited her yard. She was a lifelong Hawkeye football fan and enjoyed tailgating with friends and family.

A devoted wife to her surviving husband Marvin Meyer of 67 years, she is also survived by her loving sons, Kenyon Meyer of Aubrey, Texas and Bryan Meyer (Suzanne) of Mooresville, North Carolina, five adoring grandchildren; Wesley (Zoe), Kristen, Briana, Michaela and Benjamin and a host of nieces and nephews.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Seth Weber and Earl Weber, and her sisters DeElda Frodin, Berniece Peterson, Elaine Schroeder and LaVonne Rastetter.
