Mrs. George Keister, who had been ill for several months, and seriously ill for the past two months, passed away Saturday morning, October 3d, at 12:30. In March of this year Mrs. Keister was taken sick with pneumonia, and had never fully recovered from that disease and some three or four months later her sickness developed into quick consumption, which caused her death. She received the best of care and medical aid, but these were of no avail against the dread disease. She was a patient sufferer and brave until the last.

The deceased leaves a husband and four small children, also father, mother and brother, who have the sympathy of all in their sad bereavement.

The funeral services were held in the M. E. church Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. Gardner, of whose church the deceased was a member. The church was crowded with sorrowing friends who had gathered to show their respect and to comfort the living. The I. O. O. F. lodge attended in a body. The service was impressive after which the body was taken to Glenwood cemetery for interment. Peace to her ashes.
